Seats, fees and billing, in plain words.
A seat is one person on your team with their own LetSign login. Each sales rep is a seat and works with their own agent. Agents carry no separate charge. Clients and signers are not seats. They never pay and never need an account.
Free and Starter pay 0.1% only on invoices clients pay through LetSign into your own connected Stripe account. Team pays no fee. No Stripe account connected means no fee at all. Payments you take on Stripe outside LetSign are never counted. Fees are rounded down to the cent and refunded in proportion when an invoice is refunded.
Prices are in USD and billed monthly. Switch plans any time in Settings > Billing. Adding a seat is prorated. Moving to Free takes effect at the end of the paid month. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade.
Stripe's own processing fees, and Stripe Billing's fee on recurring invoices, are paid by you to Stripe directly. LetSign never holds or moves your money.

What counts as a seat?
A seat is one person on your team with their own LetSign login. Each sales rep is a seat and works with their own agent. Agents carry no separate charge. Clients, signers and anyone who only receives or signs a proposal are not seats.
Do my clients or signers need an account?
No. Clients and signers open a link, sign and pay. They never pay LetSign and never need an account.
What does the LetSign badge look like?
A small Made on LETSIGN.AI badge in the corner of the proposal link, plus a Sent with LetSign line in emails and PDFs. Free only.
How do I switch plans?
In the app, go to Settings > Billing. You can switch any time, on your own, with no call needed. Adding a seat is prorated.
What happens if I downgrade?
Moving to Free takes effect at the end of the month you paid for. The LetSign badge comes back on new sends only. Nothing is deleted, and your commission data stays readable but locked.
Who pays Stripe's processing fees?

Yes. When an invoice is refunded, our fee on it is refunded in proportion, automatically. Fees are always rounded down to the cent.

Yes. Free has unlimited seats, templates and sends, plus the full MCP server and API. If you never connect Stripe, you never pay anything.
What are commission plans and payouts?
On Team, each rep gets a commission plan. When a client pays an invoice through LetSign into your Stripe, the commission is earned on the amount that actually arrived, not on the signature. A refund claws it back in proportion. You close pay periods and mark them paid, and each rep sees a statement of their own deals only. The full walkthrough is at letsign.ai/commissions.
What does late payments chased for you mean?
It is a Team feature. Once a client signs, LetSign emails them the payment link on the schedule you set: every week, fortnight or month, from 1 to 12 times. When a card is declined, LetSign adds a card update link, a retry now button and a pause on collection. When the reminders run out, the deal moves to Act now and its owner is emailed.
