Late invoices, chased for you.
Once a client signs, LetSign emails them the payment link on the schedule you set, follows up when a card is declined, and hands the deal to a person when the reminders run out. Every signed deal sits on one Payments page, with the next action for each. It is part of the Team plan, and it is live today.
What it does.
Payment reminder software, built into the proposal your client signed. Automated payment reminders on a schedule a human sets, a follow-up for every declined card, and a person in charge when the reminders are not enough.
Reminders after signing
If a signed deal is not paid, LetSign emails the client the payment link on the schedule set for your workspace: every week, fortnight or month, from 1 to 12 times. Reminders come from your business name via LetSign, and replies go to the deal owner.
A person takes over
When the reminders run out, or after a second declined card, the deal moves to Act now and its owner is emailed. The owner is the sales rep on the deal, or else whoever created it, or else the account owner. From there a person decides the next step.
Declined cards
When a card is declined, Stripe emails the client and retries the charge. LetSign adds what Stripe does not: a card update link for the client, a retry now button, and a pause on collection while you sort it out. Stripe's side is in the failed payments on Stripe guide.
You see it before it sends
Every action shows what will be sent, the exact email, and runs only when you confirm it. That holds for AI agents too: an agent connected to LetSign has to confirm before anything goes to a client.
Every payment, in one place.
The Payments page shows where every signed deal stands, and the client has more than one way to pay. Chasing, invoices and recording payments are on Team. Paying at signing by card is on every plan.
The Payments page
One page for every signed deal. A monthly chart shows money collected, expected and at risk. Deals are grouped by status: paying, scheduled to pay, payment failed, payment late and cancelled. The Act now list gives the next action for each deal. Filter by month, status and owner.
Pay by invoice
Send a Stripe invoice due 7, 14 or 30 days after it is sent, instead of taking a card at signing. Or let the client choose after signing: pay now by card, or receive an invoice at their accounts address with their PO number on it.
Record a bank transfer
When a client pays outside Stripe, record it. Mark the invoice paid outside Stripe, or mark a card deal paid outside LetSign. The payment counts for commissions like any other, so the rep is credited for it.
Paid at signing, on every plan
On every plan, the client can sign the proposal and pay by card in the same step, through your own connected Stripe account. LetSign never holds the money, and an invoice paid at signing cannot be late. See how to get paid from an AI agent's deal.
Why from LetSign.
The reminder comes from the proposal the client signed, not from a separate tool. The amount and the payment link are already on that proposal, so there is nothing to re-key and nothing to get wrong. Most invoice reminder software and dunning software sits beside the invoice and asks you to copy the details across. Here the proposal, the signature, the invoice and the reminder are one record, and the client recognises it.
The same ledger that pays commission on cash collected already knows which invoice is late. On Team, commission is earned when the client pays, so the ledger watches every invoice and every subscription for the money arriving, on each Stripe webhook and again nightly. The Payments page reads from that same ledger. A late invoice, a declined card and a rep's commission are three views of one fact, in one place.
Want to write to a client yourself as well? The wording is in the payment reminder email templates, and the longer road is in how to collect unpaid invoices.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan is it on?
The Team plan. Payment reminders, invoices and recording payments are Team features. Taking payment by card at signing is on every plan, Free included.
Who do the reminders come from?
From your business name, sent via LetSign. When the client replies, the reply goes to the deal owner: the sales rep on the deal, or else whoever created it, or else the account owner.
How often do reminders go out?
On the schedule set for your workspace: every week, every fortnight or every month, from 1 to 12 times. If the deal is still unpaid when they run out, it moves to Act now and its owner is emailed.
What happens when a client's card is declined?
Stripe emails the client and retries the charge. LetSign adds a card update link for the client, a retry now button and a pause on collection. After a second declined card, the deal moves to Act now and its owner is emailed.
Can a client pay by invoice instead of card?
Yes. Send a Stripe invoice due 7, 14 or 30 days after it is sent. Or let the client choose after signing: pay now by card, or receive an invoice at their accounts address with their PO number on it.
What if the client pays by bank transfer?
Record it. Mark the invoice paid outside Stripe, or mark a card deal paid outside LetSign. The payment counts for commissions like any other.
Does anything send without me?
Reminders send on the schedule set for your workspace, and nothing else does. Every action shows what will be sent, the exact email, and runs only when you confirm it. AI agents connected to LetSign have to confirm too.
