STEP BY STEP

Build a template in four steps.

The same flow as the video, written down.

1

Start from a proposal you're proud of

Pick the proposal that best shows how you sell: your story, your packages, your terms. Or open Templates, then the Library tab, and add a ready-made one to your templates.

2

Turn it into a template

Ask your assistant, for example "Turn my Harbor & Pine proposal into a template I can reuse". Or open the proposal, click More, then Turn into template, name it and click Create template. Client details become reusable placeholders.

3

Edit the deck and the contract

Open the template. The Deck tab holds your slides, the Contract tab your packages and terms. Proposals you have already sent keep their own copy, so editing a template never changes them.

4

Use it on the next deal

Click Create proposal on the template, or tell your assistant which template to start from. The proposal tutorial picks up from there.

0:00Your best proposal shouldn't be a one-off. In this video, you'll turn it into a template, so every new deal starts from your slides, your packages and your terms.

0:12Templates live under Templates in the sidebar. My templates are your own. The Library has ready-made ones maintained by LetSign: add one to your templates, and make it yours.

0:25The fastest way to make one is to ask your assistant. For example: Turn my Harbor and Pine proposal into a template I can reuse. Claude swaps the client's details for placeholders, and the new template appears in your list.

0:44You can also do it from any proposal. Open More, then Turn into template. Give it a name and create it. Client details are anonymised into reusable placeholders.

0:58A template has the same two tabs as a proposal. The Deck holds your story. The Contract holds your packages and your terms. Change anything here: proposals you've already sent keep their own copy, so nothing shifts under your client.

1:16When a new deal comes in, click Create proposal, or just tell Claude which template to start from.

1:24That's templates: perfect it once, reuse it every time. Next up, how to put your brand on every proposal.

FAQ

Templates, answered.

What is a proposal template in LetSign?

A template is a proposal you reuse: the deck that tells your story, the contract with your packages and terms, and placeholders for the client's details. Every new proposal starts from one.

How do I make a template from an existing proposal?

Ask your AI assistant to turn the proposal into a template, or open the proposal, click More, then Turn into template. LetSign anonymises the client's details into placeholders.

Does editing a template change proposals I already sent?

No. Each proposal keeps its own copy of the deck and contract from when it was made, so a sent proposal never changes under your client.

What is the Library?

The Library tab on Templates holds ready-made templates maintained by LetSign. They render with your branding. Use one directly or add it to your templates to customise it.
