A short walkthrough of how to create a proposal in LetSign: ask your AI assistant for a draft, review the deck and the contract, preview it as your client, then send one link they can read, sign and pay.
The same flow as the video, written down. It takes a few minutes the first time and about one prompt after that.
Do this once. In the LetSign app, open Connect AI and follow the steps for your assistant. The Claude playbook walks through it in detail, and LetSign also works with ChatGPT and Cursor.
Ask for the proposal the way you would brief a colleague. Name the client and the template to start from:
"Draft a proposal for Jordan Lee at Harbor & Pine, from the recording of our call this morning."
Your assistant pulls the scope and budget from the call, fills in the deck, the pricing and the terms, and the draft appears in your Proposals list. Prefer to start by hand? Open Templates, pick one and click Create proposal.
Every draft has two tabs. The Deck tells the story: who you are, the opportunity, your approach, your team. The Contract holds your packages, with the recommended one highlighted, then your terms. Ask your assistant for changes, or click into any text and edit it in place.
Check who the proposal goes to, add a deadline or a contract start date if you need one, and switch on reminder emails so LetSign follows up while it is unsigned.
Hit Preview to see exactly what your client sees: they choose a package, verify their email, sign and pay by card through your Stripe. When it looks right, open Send, check your cover note and confirm. Sending locks the proposal, and every view and step shows up in its activity.
0:00Hi, welcome to LetSign. In the next three minutes, you'll see how to create a proposal your client can read, sign and pay, all from a single link.
0:12In LetSign, a proposal is three things in one. A visual deck that sells the work. A contract, with your pricing options and your terms. And a sign-and-pay step, so the deal closes the moment your client says yes.
0:28You don't write proposals inside LetSign. You ask your AI assistant. Connect LetSign to Claude once, from Connect AI, then just describe the deal. For example: Draft a proposal for Jordan Lee at Harbor and Pine, from the recording of our call this morning. Claude pulls the scope and budget from the call, fills in the deck, the pricing and the terms, and the draft appears in your Proposals list, ready to review.
1:00Your templates are what make this fast. Each one is a proposal you've already perfected: your slides, your packages, your terms. Claude starts from them, and you can also open one and click Create proposal to start a draft yourself.
1:18Every draft has two tabs. The Deck tells the story: who you are, the opportunity, your approach, your team. The Contract is the commitment: your packages, with the recommended one highlighted, then your terms. Want a change? Ask Claude, or click into any text and edit it right here.
1:42Check who it's going to, set a deadline or a start date if you need one, and switch on reminder emails, so LetSign follows up for you while it's unsigned.
1:54Then hit Preview to see exactly what your client will see. They choose a package, verify their email, sign, and pay by card through Stripe. No PDFs, no back and forth.
2:08When it looks right, open Send. Your cover note is already there. Send it, and the proposal locks, so what your client signs is exactly what you approved. From here, you'll see every view and every step they take.
2:26That's it: ask for it, review it, send it. Next up, how to build templates you can reuse for every deal.
No, but it is the fastest way. Connect LetSign to Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant and describe the deal in plain words. You can also open any of your templates in the LetSign app and click Create proposal to start a draft yourself, then edit every slide and clause by hand.
Three things on one link: a visual deck that tells the story of the work, a contract with your pricing options and your terms, and a sign-and-pay step. Your client picks a package, verifies their email, signs a binding e-signature and pays by card through your own Stripe account.
Yes, as long as it is not signed yet. Open the proposal and choose Reopen for editing. It goes back to draft so you can change it, and you send it again to lock the new version. What your client signs is always the exact version you sent.
If you switch them on. Each proposal has reminder emails you can set to weekly, fortnightly or monthly, for a number of rounds, and they stop as soon as the proposal is signed. They are off until you turn them on.
Through your own Stripe account. Once Stripe is connected in LetSign, your client pays by card in the same sitting as signing. LetSign never holds the money: it lands in your Stripe balance.
